    • Related posts brought to you by Yet Another Related Posts Plugin.]]>     In a major step towards boosting military cooperation between India and Bangladesh, the two countries will be jointly taking part in a counter terrorism exercise in India in February 2009. The move also reflects India’s keenness in rooting out terrorism by collaborative efforts with Bangladesh who will have a new civilian Government.

    The counter terrorism exercise will include airborne and heliborne exercises and the final modalities on the combat manoeuvres have been finalized in a military conference held in Kolkata recently. It is slated to be held in the north-eastern state of Assam between February 22 and March 7 2009.
