India To Host Homeland Security Expo

India will be hosting an international exhibition on Homeland Security where new generation products will be showcased by several domestic and international defence and security companies.

The exhibition is being organized at the backdrop of the Indian Government’s readdressing its internal security strategy, markedly increasing the budget allocation and fast tracking procurements of homeland security and defence
systems.

The second edition of the INDESEC Expo series will take place in New Delhi at Pragati Maidan between 11 – 13 October 2009. INDESEC Expo is organised by Informa, the world’s leading information specialist in association with ASSOCHAM, the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India, an apex industry body in India which represents the interests of industry and trade.

“INDESEC Expo 2009 will attract Government decision makers, influencers and end users which is critical if we were to deliver a high level of return of investment in time, money and resources for our Indian and international exhibiting companies”, said Alex Nicholl, Executive Director of INDESEC Expo 2009.

INDESEC will attract key decision makers and end users from the Defence and Home Ministry, Army, Navy, Indian Coast Guard, Indian Air Force, paramilitary forces, state police forces, anti-terrorist and Special Forces, emergency and disaster relief forces to create the optimum business environment for both exhibitors and visitors.
